Session on Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics
Pharmacodynamics is a study of the effect of the drug has on the body; while pharmacokinetics is the way in which drugs move through the body during absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion. It is a study of what body does to the drug and it influences decisions over the route of administration. For drugs to produce their effects they must interact with the body. This can happen in many ways and depends on the properties of the drug. Pharmacokinetics influences decisions over the route of administration. The processes that occur after drug administration can be broken down into four distinct areas (known as ADME).

Session on Drug Toxicology and Drug Interaction
The drug toxicology plays a very vital role in assessing the safety of the drug. The developing branch of toxicology is the drug toxicology which involves the toxicity testing of the drug from the pre-clinical studies to the post-market studies. Drug toxicologists work on the safety assessment of the drug at each step of the drug manufacture. The drug toxicologists play an important role in the drug safety and risk assessment. The drug interaction occurs when the effect of one drug is altered by the other drug or any food supplement is taken that time. Drug interaction may be drug-food or drug-drug interaction. It can also synergistic or antagonistic drug interaction. In pharmacokinetic drug interaction, the absorption, distribution, metabolism or excretion of a drug is altered by other drugs or any food item. This type of drug interaction may further affect the therapeutic effects or toxic effect of the particular drug. In pharmacodynamics, pharmacological effects of a drug may alter, as this type of drug interaction is related to target body organ.

Session on Pharmaceutical Formulation
The chemical substances and active drug combine together to form a medical drug. This process involves the production of drug which characterized by stability and acceptable to the patient. Besides that in case of synthesis of an oral medication (tablet or capsule)contains a variety of ingredients besides the drug itself; it is an obligation to be sure that all of these ingredients must be incorporated with each other. It is important to do a lot of formulation studies in order to detect the point of incorporation. Besides, that formulation studies must focus on other factors like particle size, polymorphism, pH, and solubility, in order to check whether these factors will affect the bioavailability of the drug or not.

Session on Novel Targeted Drug Delivery System
The field of therapeutics has been radically transformed by the advent of novel techniques for drug delivery. Targeted or site-specific drug delivery refers to place the drug to the desired body tissue. In this delivery system dose of medicament is reduced as its required concentration is increased at the target site only, hence it also minimizes the side effects of the drug and improve its therapeutic efficacy. Quantum dot, Transdermal devices are some of the aspects of targeted drug delivery. Pulmonary drug delivery routes are increasing importance.

Session on Drug Safety and Risk Assessment
Risk assessment is a methodical investigation that we carry out for the persistence of classifying the important risks that are present. Risk assessments are very significant as they form an essential part of a virtuous occupational health and safety management strategy. They help to make consciousness of exposures and risks. Identify them who may be at risk. The identification, assessment, and valuation of the levels of risks complicated in a situation, their assessment against standards, and determination of an acceptable level of risk. Toxicology data helps to determine the risk of exposure to certain chemicals. The practices of risk assessment are used to assess the related health risks to provide a scientific basis for regulatory standards development and risk management decision making for human health protection. The presence of chemicals in our environment is a subject of deep interest owing to the many potential adverse health effects to humans following exposure to these chemicals. The risk-assessment process incorporates many disciplines of Toxicology.

Session on Food and Chemical Toxicology
Food protection is an area concerned with handling, preparation, and storage of food in ways that prevent foodborne illness. The food and drug toxicology are engaged in involving food safety, drug toxicity, and safety, nutritional management of chronic illnesses, preclinical toxicology of drug components, biotech products developed indigenously. Biochemical food safety is the most important study of bioactive components in food. Toxic materials in food are to be determined to assess its quality. This is achieved by developing accurate analytical methods. This mainly involves separation of a toxic material from the food and then assessing the percentage of it present.  Food toxicity is mainly exposed due to the distaste associated. Food safety council has advocated techniques such as decision tree approaches to minimize the usage of animals and to decrease the time requirements.

Session on Environmental Toxicology
Environmental Toxicology is the investigation of effects of contaminations on the structure and capacity of biological communities. It does exclude the regular poisons, additionally the synthetic chemicals and their impact on the earth. It relies on upon the impacts of the toxicants on the organic chemistry and physiology. The principle motivation behind the natural toxicology is to recognize the mode/site of the activity of a xenobiotic. It additionally incorporates how the chemicals travel through biological systems and how they are consumed and metabolized by plants and creatures, the instruments by which they cause illness, result in inherent deformities, or toxin living beings.

About the Conference

The main objective of the Conference on Exploring the Novel Research and Advancements in Pharmacology and Toxicology is to collaborate science and medical research between industries and academia. It is with a better understanding of Pharmacology one can know the right dosage and dosage forms of drugs. More research in the area Pharmacology and Toxicology deals with identifying and responding to drug interactions and its side effects along with its mechanism of action, their therapeutic index and thereby treat accordingly. More intensive study with the interaction between drug and its therapeutic effects helps to identify the properties of ideal drugs.

Global Market Strategy

Pharmacology is one of the most beneficial ventures across the world. In 2008, The pharmacological business sold $773 billions around the world in 2008 and that has gradually developed for 8 years. This is anticipated to increment again by 2.5 to 3.5 percent in 2017, as per the medication statistical surveying firm IMS Health's recent report. The pharmacological procedure now takes a normal of 12 to 15 years and up to $1.7 billion for a medication to go from revelation to advertise, as indicated by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. The U.S. Nourishment and Drug Administration (FDA) and its European Union partner, the European Medicines Agency (EMEA), represent each part of a medication's improvement from chemicals utilized as a part of the medication and clinical study directions, called conventions, to bundling segments and showcasing materials. This strict oversight is intended to ensure persistent well being, and Pharma organizations consider administrative oversight important. For instance, sedate organizations keep up capable administrative undertakings divisions-the offices that arrangement with government offices and they have a tendency to be hazard disinclined.

North America has the largest share of the pharma market from the consumption point of view, followed by Europe. The pharma industry is experiencing supportive as well as restraining factors.Increasing incidence rates of ADR (adverse drug reaction) clubbed with the introduction of stringent government policies pertaining to drug safety regulations are some key factors expected to drive the pharmacovigilance market. The global pharmacovigilance market was valued USD 2,408.0 million in 2013 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.6% during the forecast period. ADR represents a substantial burden on healthcare systems and is one of the prominent reasons for morbidity in developed countries.

In France: In 2000, the turnover of the French pharmaceutical industry has amounted to EUR 36 billion, of which the production of the drugs and the medication alone amounted to EUR 31 billion. 80% of the workers in this industry are involved in the production.
In 2001, the turnover of the pharmaceutical industry grew by more than 9% in France, coupled with high rate of growth in exports of over 33%. Overall turnover in the sector in 2001 increased by 18.2% in value terms.
In 2002, according to INSEE, the LEEM and the Ministry of Industry, the French pharmaceutical sector generated an annual turnover of EUR 34.4 billion and value-added of EUR 10 billion (2001).
In 2003, growth in sales of reimbursable drugs and medication remained buoyant (+6%), but was lower than 2001 due to the limited number of innovative molecules, the impact over a full year of price reductions decided upon in November 2001. Exports remained at a very high level and overall activity grew by 12% in value terms in 2002.

Turnover grew at a rate of around 7% over the period 2003/2002, primarily driven by exports which rose by 10% Three-quarters of turnover came from sales to wholesale distributors.
The share of world production accounted by the French pharmaceutical industry currently stands at 6.5%, whereas the world share of the French market is merely 5%. French production has therefore benefited from globalization. France is also the leading producer in Europe, accounting for 22% of the drugs and medication sold in Europe, although it needs to be borne in mind that the share of this market accounted for by France is both large and protected.

Compared with the situation in other countries, the trend concentration remains relative due to the variety of products, markets, and technologies. While the leading group operating in France has a market share of around 14%, the 50 top firms in France account for 83.3% (61.5% in 1980) and the top 50 groups 90.5% of the total. In 1999, out of the top twenty companies, 10 were French owned by for the most part were part of the two leading French groups Aventis and Sanofi. Aventis is the 8th largest group in the world and Sanofi is ranked in 17th position. These two leading French groups account for 28.5% of French production.
France ranks 4th in the world in terms of the size of its prescription drugs sector. The French market is therefore also an attractive one for many subsidiaries of foreign groups, including those working in the area of biotechnology in that France offers what is far and away one of the choicest targets for growth.

Over the past ten years, the share of exports in turnover within the sector (medication, serums, and vaccines for human and veterinary use) has doubled to 33%, mainly in exports to European countries (66%). The balance of trade in the sector amounted to EUR 6.3 billion in 2002 compared with EUR 3.6 billion in 2000. This surplus was attributable to the activities of French companies only, in that foreign group's imports equaled their exports. Two-thirds of foreign trade consisted in intra-group trade.
Top Pharmaceutical companies in France:

Global revenue on Pharmaceuticals:
According to reports, it was expected that the Global turnover of Pharmaceutical companies would be the US $1.2 Trillion. And the results were even more than the expected value. The annual growth was 6-8% and emerging markets are even growth driven.
