Environmental Toxicology

Environmental Toxicology

Environmental toxicology studies the harmful effects of chemical, biological, and physical agents on living organisms and ecosystems. It examines exposure pathways, toxic mechanisms, and long-term environmental and health impacts. Pollutants such as pesticides, heavy metals, and industrial chemicals can accumulate in soil, water, and air, posing risks to both wildlife and humans. Research aims to understand dose–response relationships, bioaccumulation, and ecosystem resilience. Environmental toxicologists also contribute to risk assessment, policy-making, and remediation strategies. As global industrialization continues, managing environmental pollutants is a critical public health priority.

sub tracks:

  • Ecotoxicology and Ecosystem Impact Assessments
  • Bioaccumulation and Bio magnification Studies
  • Risk Assessment of Environmental Contaminants
  • Remediation and Pollution Control Strategies
  • Climate Change and Emerging Environmental Toxins
