Track 1: Pharmacology and Toxicology

Pharmacology is said to be the research of how an element is associated with living organisms to constitute an adjustment in the capacity. Pharmacogenomics is the study of how genes affect a person’s response to drugs. Pharmacogenomics determines how the genetic makeup of an individual affects the response to drugs. It deals with the influence of acquired and inherited genetic variation on drug response in patients by correlating gene expression or single-nucleotide polymorphisms with pharmacokinetics.
